Job Summary:
The Retention Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase customer loyalty, reduce churn, and maximize the lifetime value of customers. This role focuses on creating and managing targeted campaigns, leveraging data-driven insights, and building personalized experiences that foster long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with executional excellence to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
Responsibilities:
Customer Retention Strategy
- Develop and implement retention strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and lifetime value.
- Identify key segments and tailor retention initiatives based on customer needs and behaviors.
Campaign Management
- Design and execute retention campaigns, including loyalty programs, referral programs, and targeted email marketing.
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to create engaging materials for campaigns.
Workshops and Webinars
- Plan, coordinate, and host engaging workshops and webinars to educate, retain, and build stronger relationships with customers.
- Manage logistics, such as scheduling, participant invitations, and follow-up communication, using platforms like Zoom.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external speakers to ensure content aligns with customer needs and business objectives.
Copywriting and Content Development
- Craft compelling and persuasive copy for retention campaigns, emails, and loyalty programs.
- Adapt content to align with regional preferences through transcreation and localization efforts, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy.
Data Analysis and Insights
- Analyze customer data to identify churn risks and recommend strategies to address them.
- Monitor key retention metrics such as churn rate, customer lifetime value, and engagement rates.
- Use insights from data to refine campaigns and improve effectiveness.
Personalization and Customer Experience
- Create personalized communication strategies for customer engagement through email, SMS, and other channels.
- Enhance customer journeys by identifying touchpoints and optimizing interactions.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Work closely with customer success, product, and marketing teams to align retention initiatives with company goals.
- Prepare and present detailed retention performance reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.

- Customer Segmentation: Skilled in using CRM and segmentation tools to target campaigns effectively.
- Email Marketing Tools: Proficiency in platforms like HubSpot or Mailchimp for creating, automating, and analyzing retention emails.
- Webinar Platforms: Proficiency in Zoom for planning, hosting, and managing online events and workshops.
Qualifications:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in retention marketing, CRM, or customer engagement roles.
- Proven expertise in copywriting and developing persuasive customer-focused content.
- Demonstrates experience in transcreation/localization to adapt campaigns for diverse cultural and linguistic audiences.
- Proven ability to design and implement retention programs that drive customer loyalty and reduce churn.
- Proven ability to plan and host workshops and webinars to enhance customer retention and engagement.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation and targeted campaign strategies.
- Familiarity with B2B marketing and strategies for enhancing customer relationships in professional environments.
- Experience working in SaaS environments, with a strong understanding of customer retention strategies for subscription-based business models.
- Experience working with CRM tools and email marketing platforms like HubSpot and Mailchimp.
- Up-to-date knowledge of retention marketing trends and industry best practices.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills for evaluating customer data and campaign performance.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
