The Sales Researcher plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by identifying and developing high-quality leads. This individual will be responsible for researching potential leads, analyzing data, and creating targeted lists of prospective clients to support business growth and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and skilled at gathering and interpreting data to build strategic prospect lists.
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
- Partner with GD&E lead to execute routine processes and operations for the broader GD&E team, including: facilitating team cadence calls, performance measurement, communications, process improvement, and ad hoc analysis
- Lead opportunity triage, tagging, and management; liaise between GD&E and Delivery to ensure proper SME support is aligned and monitorable
- Own and drive Point B offering development roadmap, partnering with GD&E team to execute and distribute information across relevant stakeholder groups
- Manage the development, management, and distribution of key offering related content
- Drive and manage budgets for all offering development investments
- Build and manage reporting and dashboard assets (including in Salesforce and PowerBI) to support business needs Revenue Operations
- Assist in ongoing management and improvement to Offering and Skill Area data constructs, data quality, and governance
- Conduct complex analysis in Excel, meshing multiple datasets together to derive business critical insights
- Provide partnership and support for Demand-Supply planning efforts
- Identify opportunities for system enhancement and drive to completion in partnership with IT team (Salesforce, bDiscover, EDW, PowerBI)
- Serve as primary coordination point with IT and other partners in the requirements gathering, analysis, release planning, and communication needs for future system enhancements
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation
- Work cross-functionally with Growth, Delivery, Finance, HR, Corp Dev, and others to execute Growth and GD&E priorities
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. degree required
- 8+ years of management consulting experience
- Excellent Client Service Delivery track record
- Demonstrated understanding of key consulting business management concepts
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce reporting and dashboarding features
- Ability to manage and analyze large sets of data; familiarity with key data management and analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI, Excel)
- Strong visual and presentation development skills
- Demonstrated success leading teams and projects
- Proficient with a variety of technology platforms and willingness to learn / self-teach new tools or skills, as required
- Strong understanding of how Point B operates across Sales, Delivery, and Operations functions (for internal candidates)
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences (e.g., Executive leadership, IT business partners, general Associate community)
