Rust Developer (Remote)

Location: Remote from Europe

We’re looking for a Senior Rust Developer ready to dive into researching, analyzing, and building cutting-edge software.

Project description: The Unified Log Management Platform streamlines log collection, storage, and analysis, enabling real-time data transformation and system integration. It empowers businesses to optimize operations, enhance security, and ensure compliance with innovative, user-focused solutions.

Must-haves In The Technology Stack

• 4-5 years of programming experience with Rust.
• Over 5 years in systems programming, including languages such as C++ or Go.
• Proficiency in network programming.
• Knowledge of multithreaded programming.
• Experience with SSL/TLS APIs.
• Strong algorithmic skills.
• Expertise in debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
• Adherence to secure coding practices.
• Commitment to code quality and readability.
• Enthusiasm for working in a Multi-platform environment.

A Bit More About The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in Java programming.
• Background in building distributed systems.
• Knowledge of build automation.
• Prior experience as a software architect.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Salary

The rate will depend on your level of experience, we’ll discuss this during the recruitment interview.

Recruitment Process

• Discovery talk with HR (about an hour).
• Technical talk with Scalac’s developer (about an hour).
• Call with the client (about an hour).
• Final talk with CEO (about 30 min.).
