About the role

The Internal Sales Co-Ordinator will work closely with the Qld Sales Manager to support the Qld sales team in the achievement of Industrial and Commercial customer growth and retention targets, reporting, business analytics, and promotion of a positive and collaborative team culture. 

The role is much more than an administration support role!

  • Maintaining a high level of customer focussed activity, supporting the Qld Sales Manager and a large Qld based sales team to deliver on budgeted growth and customer satisfaction goals
  • Interpreting data sets and developing coherent reports that influence business decision making
  • Support the delivery of market leading service and support to Elgas’ high value commercial customers. 
  • Interpret and communicate commercial terms and pricing with customers, sales team members, and senior management. 
  • Collaborating closely with local branch staff, sales team members across Qld, and industry stakeholders, to build a supporting network for the sales team.
  • Maintaining relevant data in our CRM system (Salesforce) and producing coherent sales reports.

What makes you great?

  • Demonstrated sales support / admin / sales experience from any industry.
  • Demonstrated experience using multiple systems to extract reports, and strong spreadsheeting skills using Microsoft Excel.
  • Sound understanding of commercial matters
  • A strong desire to serve customers, motivation to deliver a high level of daily activity, and a high regard for sales and marketing.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent personal presentation.  
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision with excellent abilities to time manage and prioritize. 
  • You possess a positive and friendly disposition and enjoy promoting a positive team culture.
  • Confidence to communicate with commercial customers, resolve disputes, and discuss pricing and contractual matters.
