We’re looking for an experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the strategy and execution for generating sales and building brand awareness for our new platform.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Sales and Marketing to build and lead our sales and marketing teams. You will develop and execute strategies that drive sales, generate leads, and build our brand presence in the marketplace. As we currently do not have a sales history, you will play a pivotal role in identifying the right channels, crafting go-to-market strategies, and driving the overall growth of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to launch our inventory management SaaS to the market.
  • Build and lead the sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment between both functions to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in key channels (e-commerce, shipping, and inventory management) to position our platform as a market leader.
  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure our platform’s value proposition is effectively communicated to customers.
  • Design and execute lead generation campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, paid ads, etc.).
  • Create a data-driven marketing approach, analyzing performance metrics to refine and optimize campaigns.
  • Build relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and networks to enhance brand awareness and credibility.
  • Develop a sales pipeline, manage forecasts, and ensure that sales targets are achieved or exceeded.
  • Lead customer acquisition strategies, including direct outreach, trade shows, webinars, and partnership programs.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the sales and marketing team members, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing, or in a senior sales and marketing leadership role, preferably in a SaaS or software company.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, sales funnels, lead generation strategies, and CRM tools.
  • Experience in launching new products to market with a strong ability to create go-to-market strategies from scratch.
  • Ability to identify market trends and customer pain points to position the platform as a solution.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of driving growth in a fast-paced environment.
