Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate that is motivated and willing to work starting at a commission only basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers, helping them find the right products to meet their needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a knack for consumable product sales, and the ability to handle cold calls, and selling to customers who are currently using another product who have never heard of ours.
Duties
– Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and understanding their needs.
– Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions, ensuring they leave satisfied with their experience.
– Maintain a high level knowledge of all the products we sell, how they would work for our different types of clientele (B2C or B2B) as well as being a first line technical support for B2B clients in your sales region as they will likely interact with you directly and we pride ourselves on a knowledgable sales force rather than moving straight to passing the buck.
– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.
– Stay knowledgeable about current promotions, product offerings, and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
Qualifications
– Previous experience in wholesale / B2B / stone care / consumable products is preferred but not mandatory.
– Strong organizational skills
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
– Bilingual (French) candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
– A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about new products
– Strong ability to do simple math quickly, many clients will ask for help consulting as they move into the industry with things like quantity calculations, and an important sales tool is helping calculate a contractors cost per square foot.
