Position Overview
As the Sales and Business Development Leader, you will be the driving force behind our sales initiatives and business expansion. This multifaceted role requires a blend of direct sales, sales management, operations, and leadership. You’ll collaborate closely with our executive team to shape our sales strategy, build a high-performing sales team, and foster strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Sales:
Take the lead in generating new business, closing inbound leads, and managing the entire sales funnel.
Engage with potential clients at each stage of the sales process—from initial contact to contract signing, payment collection, and a smooth hand-off to fulfillment and customer service.
Business Development
Identify and drive partnership opportunities, including lead generation, co-branding, white-label, enterprise, and referral partnerships.
Work towards achieving business development goals alongside direct sales and revenue targets.
Cross-Sales/Up-Sales
Explore up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within our existing client base.
Develop and implement workflows and automations to support a continuous cross-sales program.
Sales Operations
Collaborate with marketing to create and refine pitch decks, brochures, and other sales materials.
Enhance the lead and pre-sales experience while maximizing data capture throughout the sales funnel.
Champion and assist with the administration and configuration of HubSpot and other internal sales systems; experience running HubSpot email campaigns is a plus.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the agency or SaaS industry.
A strong track record of closing sales, leading sales teams, and achieving revenue targets.
Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, and experience in sales operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building strong relationships with clients and partners.
A strategic thinker who can identify new opportunities and drive business growth.
Experience with partnership development and a solid network in the digital marketing or tech space is a major plus.
A strong network in a target industry, especially with attorneys or dentists, is also a significant advantage.
