The Opportunity:

As a Senior Sales & Business Development Manager at Phoenix, you will be at the forefront of our growth journey, taking a leading role in our sales operations. You will step into a high-impact position where your work will directly influence our company’s trajectory. The foundation is set—our Founder/CEO is currently achieving an impressive ~80% conversion rate on sales calls via Zoom. Your mission will be to maintain and exceed this level of success, as well as to scale our sales team as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead High-Impact Sales Calls: Transition seamlessly into leading sales calls that convert at a high rate. You’ll inherit a proven process and have the opportunity to refine and optimize it for even greater success. You will be speaking directly with ecommerce founders and CEO’s in these sales calls. 
  • Client Activation & Onboarding: Conduct detailed activation calls with new clients to uncover their goals and business strategies.
  • Strategic Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the CEO, COO, and CRO to continuously improve our sales processes, develop new marketing strategies, and ensure alignment with company goals. Your insights will help shape the future of our sales efforts and drive company-wide growth.
  • Build & Scale the Sales Team: Play a key role in expanding our sales operation, identifying top talent, and building a team that sets the standard for excellence in the industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of Proven Sales & Business Development Expertise- Demonstrated success in a senior sales or business development role, ideally within the ecommerce D2C space. Experience selling to online business owners is highly preferred. 
  • Proficient Understanding of Ecommerce: Ability to speak knowledgeably about D2C ecommerce and D2C advertising, positioning Phoenix as the go-to solution for prospective clients.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, ownership-driven mindset. You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is eager to contribute to the company’s overall success.
