As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to generate leads and close sales with new and existing clients. You will identify potential customers interested in buying or selling businesses, build strong client relationships, and provide exceptional customer service. You will manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract revision, and work closely with our marketing and financial analyst teams to create effective sales materials.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to prospect for new and existing clients and self-generate leads.
  • Identify potential customers interested in buying or selling businesses and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Provide clients with a range of services, including evaluation and business coaching, software, AI, and other M&A services.
  • Conduct presentations and manage the sales process from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and financial analyst teams to develop and utilize effective sales materials.
  • Utilize CRM practices to build and manage productive business professional relationships and pipelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company and stay informed about market trends and industry developments.
  • Create, track, and execute KPIs leading to customer and company success.
  • Keep contact lists and follow up with current customers to continue building relationships.
  • Identify and create alignment for sellers and buyers.
  • Review buyer and seller contract revisions.
  • Manage and maintain CRM to build and manage a lead sales pipeline.
  • Liaise with Financial Analysts and Buyer and Sellers.

  • Preferred experience as an M&A Advisor or Business Broker.
  • Proven track record of making hundreds of telemarketing and outdoor cold calls weekly.
  • Minimum of 2 consecutive years of sales experience.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to listen to customers and professionally answer questions or address concerns.
  • Experience selling to B2B clients with 6-7+ figure sales transactions.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and sales quotas.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-reliant, self-motivated, and driven.
  • Ability to travel minimally as required.
  • Preferred sales industry experience in Heavy Equipment, Commercial Insurance, Franchise, and Mortgage Sales.
  • Experience managing and building a sales pipeline.
  • Business savvy with an understanding of business and financials.
