Responsibilities focus on uncovering a portfolio of leads and qualifying new business opportunities to assist in selling our all-in-one Practice Management software. You will be the foundation of our biggest future deals!
The Role
A Sales Development Representative (SDR) at TaxDome plays a key role in generating and qualifying leads for new business. You’ll prospect potential clients through research, social media, and outreach (cold calls, emails, event follow-ups) to build a lead pipeline. Your main task is to qualify these leads, ensuring they meet criteria using frameworks like BANT or CHAMP, before passing them to Account Executives. Working closely with Sales and Marketing, you’ll keep the pipeline updated and focus on driving qualified leads. We’re seeking a motivated, positive, and metrics-driven individual.
What You Will Do
- This role involves heavy cold calling and we expect the majority of appointments to be derived from outbound calling efforts.
- Partner with the Sales team to achieve mutually aligned sales goals each month.
- Own and accurately qualify leads via phone, email, and other channels by building a relationship with key decision makers and identifying their needs.
- Properly document all customer interactions in the CRM and other reporting tools.
- Overcome objectives and effectively communicate the value of TaxDome’s products and services.
- Maintain effective time management skills to manage the pipeline and drive a high volume of leads to senior sales teams.
- Create strong relationships with the TaxDome Sales and Customer Success Manager (CSM) teams to assist in overall lead generation.
- Prioritize workload in order to meet all KPI’s, goals, and objectives
Ideal Profile
What You Have Or Know
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Strong desire to be in technology space and pursue a career in sales, account development, or product management
- 3+ years of sales experience or sales development activities.
- Experience in Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred but not required.
- Prior inside sales experience is a plus but not required
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships quickly, both internally and externally with prospects
- Self-starter with enthusiasm for problem solving
- A passion for using technology to create more effective business environments
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- A working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
