    Our US-based client is the online M&A platform for buyers and sellers of SMBs (small to medium-sized businesses). Their mission is to unleash the potential of private capital markets for the benefit of all entrepreneurs. To pursue this mission, they have built a pioneering digital transaction marketplace that radically improves the speed, confidentiality, and success rates of small business M&A transactions.

    What will you be doing?

    The go-to-market (GTM) team is the sales and customer success organization, focused on strengthening and expanding new and existing relationships across the “sell-side” (investment banks and M&A Advisors) and the buy-side (private equity investors).

    As a Sell-Side SDR, you will support account executives in actively managing and prospecting a patch of existing sell-side members. Your #1 objective is to grow the number of active, healthy contributing contacts within your patch.

    The path to individual outperformance in this role is unlocked by mastering the company’s product, effectively communicating our value proposition to customers and prospects, and consistently executing impactful account outreach strategies. They’re committed to equipping you with the training, coaching, and tools you need to excel in each of these areas.

    Responsibilities

    • Become an expert in The Company’s suite of product capabilities and learn the talk tracks to confidently articulate the value of the platform to build trust and drive platform usage amongst our sell-side members.
    • Strategically identify decision makers and influencers within your patch, their specialties, and Account Manager’s past interactions to enable us to build more custom outreach strategies.
    • Assist with key tasks such as maintaining accurate Salesforce records, cleaning prospect data lists, building account targeting plans, and assisting in drafting professional deal teasers on behalf of our members.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of direct experience in B2B sales, customer success, account management, or partnerships (prior exposure to investment banking or private equity business development is a nice plus, but not required).
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Credible and demonstrated experience or interest in building a career in B2B sales/account management
    • Referenceable history of striving for and achieving increasing levels of excellence in personal, professional, athletic, or artistic settings.
