Sales Enablement And Learning Development Specialist (Remote)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Learning & Development Specialist is a dynamic and detail-oriented individual responsible for developing and updating training programs, conducting training sessions, assessing training needs, collaborating with department heads, monitoring and evaluating training programs’ effectiveness, and developing and executing onboarding strategies for new joiners.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent project management skills, and a passion for continuous learning. This position is critical in ensuring our team stays ahead of industry trends and continues to excel in a competitive market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Its functions are the following; however, they are not limited to:

• Develop and Update Training Programs: Create and maintain comprehensive training modules on sales techniques, industry trends, and our tech stack to ensure all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires and existing employees, both in-person and virtually.
• Assess Training Needs: Regularly assess the sales team’s training needs and develop customized training plans to address gaps and enhance skills.
• Collaborate with Department Heads: Work closely with sales managers, IT, and other departments to identify training opportunities and develop relevant content.
• Monitor and Evaluate Effectiveness: Track and analyze the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in logistics and transportation, as well as advancements in sales techniques and technology.
• Create Training Materials: Develop high-quality training materials, including manuals, videos, and interactive tools, to support the learning process.
• Mentor and Support Team Members: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Other duties as directed by the Sales Operations Director.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as a Training and Development Specialist, Sales Trainer, or similar role, preferably within the logistics and transportation industry.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and industry-specific challenges.
• Familiarity with sales tools such as CRM systems, sales automation software, and data analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
