In this newly created role, you’ll put your top-notch technical and customer-facing skills to work, directly supporting Retraced’s mission to make the fashion industry more sustainable through technology.
What you will do
As a Sales Engineer at Retraced, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our sales team. Your expertise will bridge the gap between our product and sales strategy, ensuring our clients experience the full value of our platform. You’ll consult with clients at an expert level, support enterprise-level engagements, and enhance our sales processes through deep product and industry knowledge.
You will
- Tailor deep-dive demos and lead discussions on specialized cases to address client needs and provide balanced insights on feature benefits
- Collaborate with IT specialists and solution architects from client enterprises to conceptualize integrations and data mapping scenarios, ensuring Retraced seamlessly fits into their IT landscape
- Act as the bridge between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
- Stay up-to-date with product advancements and educate the sales team to refine demo flows and use cases
- Collect and structure feedback from go-to-market teams and deliver insights to the product team
- Develop and maintain demo playbooks and standard demo flows, ensuring relevance amidst regulatory updates and platform improvements
- Own and maintain the demo environment, keeping certifications, mappings, and questionnaires accurate and current
- Set up customer-specific demo environments for enterprise-level sales

Who you are
- Several years of B2B Sales or Product experience in a SaaS/startup or scale-up environment
- Equally comfortable communicating with commercial stakeholders as with technical counterparts
- Excellent understanding of API integrations and data mapping within complex IT landscapes
- Experience of strategic implementation planning for enterprise customers
- Fluent English both written and spoken (C1/C2 level minimum)
- You have great communication, public speaking, and presentation skills to engage diverse stakeholders and guide client conversations
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively
- Hands-on experience with CRMs and demo environments
- Fashion, textile, or supply chain industry experience (preferred)
- Additional European languages advantageous (e.g., French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Nordic).
- Experience in public speaking, events, or thought leadership would be nice to have
