Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Drive the acquisition of new business and partnerships through strategic prospecting, lead qualification, and contract negotiations.
- Target Identification: Identify key clients and market segments that align with our innovative platform.
- Partnership Generation: Initiate and develop new partnerships from the ground up, including proposal evaluation and negotiation.
- Partner Onboarding: Deliver sales and product training to newly onboarded partners.
- Partner Management: Maintain a precise pipeline and provide regular updates on partner performance.
- Partner Success: Engage with partners, customers, and prospects as required, and participate in local events to enhance partnership visibility.
- Revenue Goals: Meet and surpass established revenue targets.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with strategic technology partners, analyze contracts, and liaise with administrative, marketing, and legal teams to finalize agreements.
- New Revenue Coordination: Spearhead new business revenues from financial institutions and explore new affinity markets.
- Product Offering Development: Identify and create tailored product offerings that cater to client needs.
- Leadership Collaboration: Conduct regular meetings with senior leadership to present and advocate for partnerships, ensuring optimal resource allocation for success.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Development or as a Head of Sales, with a proven track record in the complete B2B sales process, including onboarding and partnership management.
- Solid B2B sales experience, particularly in managing third-party distribution channels, with strong closing capabilities and a results-oriented approach.
- Comprehensive understanding of the FinTech and Cryptocurrency sectors, with experience in sales and business development, especially involving API solutions for affinity partners.
- Proven project management skills are advantageous.
- Exceptional ability to adapt quickly, anticipate challenges, make informed decisions, and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution is required.
- Prior work experience in Africa is essential for this role.
