Title: Waterworks Sales Manager – North

Location: North of England
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to surpass or meet Bermad UK Ltd.’s annual sales targets within the designated territory from Birmingham Northwards (as a rough guide).
- Identify and engage with potential customers in the water utilities, buildings, and construction segments to determine how Bermad’s products can address their specific needs and challenges.
- Build and nurture enduring customer relationships, emphasising the value of our comprehensive range of products.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our product range.
- Collaborate with internal teams, especially technical engineers, to ensure customers receive exceptional support and service throughout their journey.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to seize new opportunities and improve the sales process.
- Utilise the in-house CRM system to maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and sales activities .
- Participate in marketing events, such as the London Leakage Summit and the Water UK Leakage conference, to promote Bermad products.
- Candidate should recognise and be comfortable knowing that the role is primarily sales focussed. This means 3 – 4 days visiting customers in every week.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable proven record as a Sales Representative ideally in the water industry
- Strong expertise in the waterworks, buildings, and construction segments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills to build lasting customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, driven, and capable of independently managing and prioritizing tasks.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory as required.
- Familiarity with CRM software and ability to maintain meticulous sales records.
- Passion for contributing to an aggressive growth strategy aimed at doubling turnover in three years.
- Visiting customers 3 – 4 days in the week and meeting a minimum number of visits per week.
