The Role 
 
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, driven and passionate Sales Lead to join our Operational Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer this role will be responsible for the effective development and execution of our global sales strategy.  This role is crucial to ensuring a seamless and unified approach to sales for each region, from process alignment, execution, and effectively leading cross-functional collaboration between teams to drive results in accordance with Globe’s growth strategy.  

 
Responsibilities 
 

  • Effectively drive and lead business development globally ensuring we continue to grow a strong and sustainable pipeline of new business. 
  • Develop a global sales strategy and successfully execute across all regions.  
  • Successfully lead the optimisation and standardisation of sales processes, ensuring best practices are followed globally.  
  • Single point of contact ensuring alignment between sales teams and senior leadership.  
  • Effectively partner with all relevant internal stakeholders to ensure our sales strategy is fully integrated and continues to drive growth.  
  • Proactively monitor, manage and report on sales performance across all regions.  
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. 

 
Requirements 
 

  • Proven and extensive experience in successfully leading sales teams and implementing sales strategies globally.  
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and a track record of process improvement.  
  • Experience in managing complex and diverse markets with a strong focus on driving results.  
  • Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills.   
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.  
  • Great work ethic, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet specific deadlines.  
  • Prior experience in talent acquisition and sales for mining and/or heavy industries.  
  • Strong commercial understanding with the ability to forecast and report on business development activities.  
  • Most importantly a collaborator who values relationships and making a positive difference.
