The Role

What You’ll Do

  • Lead outbound sales efforts: You’ll be making outbound calls to potential customers, presenting our unique energy solutions with the goal of expanding our market reach.
  • Maximize sales opportunities: Using the leads we provide, you’ll convert opportunities into sales, consistently meeting or exceeding your targets.
  • Seal the deal: Your advanced closing skills will allow you to secure customer commitments and finalize sales with ease.
  • Handle objections like a pro: Not everyone says “yes” on the first call. You’ll be resilient in overcoming objections and handling rejections with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Track your success: Accurately report and track all sales activities and customer interactions. You’ll refine strategies and meet your KPIs with precision.
  • Use data to drive retention: Analyze the data, draw meaningful insights, and use that information to boost customer retention and refine our approach.
  • Build and grow a team: Beyond just sales, you’ll help us create effective sales processes and oversee the growth of a high-performing sales team.

Ideal Profile

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales: You’ve thrived in high-pressure sales environments before, with a particular strength in cold calling and direct sales closing.
  • Leadership experience: You have successfully overseen a sales team, and you’re ready to do it again—this time, with even greater impact.
  • Industry expertise: Experience in the energy sector, especially retail energy, is a huge plus. If not, a background in related industries like telecommunications or pharmaceutical sales will set you up for success.
  • Persuasive communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You know how to build rapport, overcome objections, and persuade customers to take action.
  • Results-driven: Self-motivation is your driving force, and you thrive on achieving and surpassing targets.
  • Data-savvy: You’re comfortable working with data and Excel, and you use those insights to drive better outcomes for the team and the business.
  • Fluent in English: Your written and spoken English is top-notch, allowing you to effectively communicate with customers and team members alike.
