Do you have extensive travel, sales, and operations experience? Have you managed a team of 5 or more colleagues for at least 3-5 years? Do you love to inspire colleagues to do their best? Do you enjoy setting best practices to help your team continuously improve? We are looking for an experienced manager to work with our team of professional travel experience/sales colleagues and as a part of our exceptional management team. An added bonus is that you can work remotely and be located anywhere in the continental US. 

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Interacting daily with our travel experience/sales team to coach, mentor, problem solve, set expectations, and share the company’s vision. 
  • Providing honest and direct coaching to the team on Best Practices while leading by example. 
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data.
  • Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating sales performance and improving sales team efficiency and effectiveness through “extreme ownership” of the team’s goals.
  • Forecasting demand and revenue. Working with tour operations inventory to monitor whether our number of tours supports our projected demand. 
  • Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing team.
  • Determining sales potential and making recommendations individually and teamwide.
  • Monitoring and analyzing competitive itineraries/offerings, customer profiles, and industry trends.
  • Collaborating with Tour Operations, Guest Services, Marketing, and other members of our team to improve efficiencies and develop strategic plans for future years. 
  • Participating in our weekly management meetings to strategically inform the direction of our company. 

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Degree in business or related field.
  • Experience in sales training.
  • Strong research and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software – specifically HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Projection and budget forecasting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations – preferably luxury travel. 
  • Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and lead by example. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. 
  • Proven ability to mentor a team. 

 

WAGES & BENEFITS: 

$85,000-90,000/year + bonus potential
