Your main responsibilities include:

  • Initiating conversations with L&D managers, owners/directors of training companies
  • Intensely following up with the prospects and closing the sales within the sales cycle.
  • Diligently communicating and priming the lead through channels like email, Whatsapp, LinkedIn, calls etc.
  • Achieving the monthly targets in a high pressure performance driven competitive environment.
  • Utilise systems and tools to monitor KPIs, track pipeline funnel and provide reports to senior leadership
  • Attract, onboard and develop sales talent and embed a strong sales culture
  • Set department objectives that align with the sales targets and overall business strategy
  • Equip the team to grow a strong sales funnel
  • Manage key relationships & attend sales events with your sales team to increase revenue growth
  • Interact regularly with marketing to coordinate sales and marketing initiatives
  • Pro-actively find opportunities to improve sales practices and processes
  • Establish a sales enablement strategy and continuous training and feedback loops

We expect you to:

  • Must have 5+ years of experience in the B2B EdTech industry, Technology sales or equivalent experience preferred.
  • A proven track record of annual sales volume of $500k – $2mill
  • A proven track record of achieving targets and both team and individual levels
  • A proven track record in closing sales across geographies
  • 3-5 years of sales management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading sales teams to achieve targets
  • Experience of demonstrating expert strategic selling in a consultative sales environment with a longer sales cycle and the ability to pass this to your team
  • Experience in recruiting and building a high-performing sales team
  • Experience in creating sales enablement materials in collaboration with the product marketing team
