RPM Europe is specializing in finished vehicle transportation and supply chain solutions. We deliver thousands of loads per month and hundreds of thousands of vehicles per year, addressing our customers’ shipping needs by sourcing and developing capacity using our own proprietary technology tools and software.

We are looking for motivated and qualified Sales Managers for our international team at one of the fastest growing logistics companies. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our automotive customers while providing excellent service and supporting the growth of our company.

Operational and commercial teams of RPM Europe are located in Gdansk, Poland, but the Sales Managers may work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships RPM’s key clients in the automotive industry.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries.
  • Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and requirements to provide tailored logistics solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of services and exceed client expectations.

Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for business growth within existing accounts and new prospects.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand market share and increase revenue.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated on industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Present value propositions and negotiate contracts with clients to maximize profitability.

Operational Excellence:

  • Work closely with the operations and accounting team to ensure smooth execution of logistics services.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess service quality and proactively address any issues.
  • Analyze logistics data and generate reports for clients, highlighting performance, cost-saving opportunities, and operational efficiencies.

Team Collaboration:

  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding client requirements, service improvements, and issue resolution.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, any related field or equal experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven commercial experience within the finished vehicle logistics.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant business tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
