Sales Manager Job Description:

As a Sales/Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales and business development efforts within the IT Sector. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and expanding our client base and managing end-to-end Sales Cycle on the consulting side.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation, Client Acquisition and Business Development: Actively identify and engage potential clients across healthcare, IT, product, consulting, and technology sectors. Focus on lead generation and strategic outreach, especially within North American and Canadian markets, to grow client partnerships. Develop and implement targeted strategies to drive client acquisition and expand our market presence, ensuring sustained growth and a competitive edge.
• Sales Cycle Management: Understand the sales cycle and effectively manage it from prospecting to closing deals. Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads, and track progress using CRM tools.
• Client Account Growth: Work closely with existing clients to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and delivering additional value through our products and services.
• Appointment Booking: Have a strong zeal for Outbound calling – Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients, providing them with insights into our solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition of BPK Tech.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, and results. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
• Sales Presentation and Demos: One of the key responsibilities is to excel in delivering effective sales presentations and product demonstrations. This involves engaging with potential clients and showcasing our solutions in a compelling and persuasive manner.
• Track and interpret sales metrics to evaluate performance and drive ongoing enhancements. Develop an in-depth familiarity with our products/services to articulate value propositions effectively.
• Strong communicator, who can take the insights and implications found in the data and relate them through cohesive narratives.
• Help ensure objectives are being met on time while maintaining the quality and integrity of the work.
• Record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally.
• Working within CRM and log activities and has ability to collaborate and ideate with stakeholders inside and outside of immediate team and group.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business, Marketing/Sales/Operations, or a related field.
• Proven track record of at least 7-11 years in sales and business development, preferably within the health-tech, healthcare, IT, software product, consulting, or technology sectors, software selling experience in North American/Canadian Markets is a huge plus.
• Well versed with B2B environment, cold calling and outbound approach for setting up client meetings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.

Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
