We are a family-owned global court reporting company that prides itself on delivering exceptional court reporting, videography, videoconferencing, interpretation, and trial support services both in the United States and internationally. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our team and help shape our future.
Position Overview
As the Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading, training, and motivating our sales team to achieve their best performance. You will be instrumental in implementing targeted action plans and sales initiatives, while maintaining ongoing communication about team performance. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to learn about the court reporting and litigation services industry, possesses strong leadership skills, has a passion for customer service, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and have a dotted line to the Co-Founder and Managing Partner.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management: Oversee the activities and performance of Account Executives, developing tailored sales plans to drive revenue growth. Ensure accountability for the quality and completeness of account plans while identifying opportunities for process optimization.
Talent Development: Conduct hiring, training, and performance management to ensure staff competency and achievement of sales goals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
Business Growth: Guide team members in identifying new business opportunities and driving account growth. Provide consistent feedback, support, and motivation to help them succeed.
Pipeline Management: Ensure disciplined pipeline health by collaborating on best practices and insights to minimize variances. Work with Account Executives to maintain a robust and effective sales pipeline.
Client Engagement: Develop a deep understanding of clients’ needs and priorities, ensuring the team is well-equipped to meet them. Engage in regular check-ins and conduct annual performance reviews.
Sales Tracking: Monitor sales performance by analyzing data and making accurate forecasts. Report results to the VP of Sales and identify opportunities for improvement.
Marketing Collaboration: Contribute to sales marketing initiatives through teamwork and represent our services effectively with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
Creative Contributions: Provide innovative content for sales incentives and assist with meeting content for annual and quarterly gatherings.
Client Interaction: Participate in client and prospect meetings to offer coaching and support, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed to support the sales team and organizational goals.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Proven sales leadership experience, with a track record of success in managing a team of at least 10 individuals.
Experience in the court reporting industry is required; technology industry experience is strongly preferred.
A minimum of five years of sales experience, including at least two years in a professional services environment.
Strong supervisory, leadership, and customer relationship management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Commitment to providing best-in-class customer service.
Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
