Position Overview:
The Sales and Marketing Lead will spearhead our B2B and B2C online growth initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of sales and marketing acumen to effectively manage relationships with both business and consumer clients, drive sales on marketplaces, and execute impactful marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- B2B Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B sales strategy targeting wholesalers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify new business opportunities and negotiate partnerships to expand market reach.
- Meet sales targets by tracking KPIs and optimizing sales approaches.
- B2C Sales & Marketplace Management
- Oversee B2C sales on online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart) and the company’s e-commerce website.
- Optimize listings, pricing, promotions, and SEO to enhance product visibility and conversion.
- Analyze and report on marketplace sales trends, adjusting strategies to maximize revenue.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to ensure a seamless buying experience.
- Marketing Campaign Development & Execution
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute online campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, and influencer collaborations.
- Create B2B and B2C marketing materials, including product catalogs, presentations, and content tailored for each audience.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor and analyze sales data, customer insights, and competitive trends to refine marketing and sales tactics.
- Regularly report performance metrics to senior management and propose actionable insights.
- Implement best practices for data-driven decision-making across both B2B and B2C channels.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product development, inventory, and operations teams to ensure products are positioned effectively for maximum sales impact.
- Align with finance to manage budgets, track expenses, and forecast revenue for campaigns and partnerships.
- Coordinate with customer service to ensure timely responses to B2C inquiries and high satisfaction rates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in sales and marketing within the fashion, apparel, or retail industry.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, managing retailer and distributor relationships.
- Strong understanding of online marketplaces, digital marketing, and e-commerce trends.
- Proficiency in CRM, e-commerce analytics tools, and online ad platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new sales and marketing software.
