Job Title: Sales & Marketing Manager (Architects & Interior Designers)

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager with a strong background in architecture, interior design, or related fields. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pitching and selling products/services to architects, interior designers, and builders. This role requires building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the design and construction industry, promoting our offerings, and driving sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Actively engage with architects, interior designers, and builders, presenting our products/services and understanding their specific needs.
- Sales Pitch & Presentation: Develop and deliver compelling presentations and pitches tailored to the interests and project needs of architects and designers.
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the design and construction industries, focusing on key decision-makers.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, and construction professionals to ensure repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, campaigns, and strategies targeted at architects, designers, and builders.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, with the ability to explain how they align with the needs of the design community.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market demands to adjust strategies and offerings accordingly.
- Sales Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by building a strong pipeline and converting leads into customers.
- Networking: Attend industry events, exhibitions, and seminars to expand the network and promote the company’s products and services to potential clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design and product development teams to ensure the products meet the expectations of architects and designers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with a focus on the architecture, interior design, or construction industries.
- Established relationships or familiarity with architects, interior designers, and builders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition to design professionals.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools to manage leads and sales activities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the interior design or architecture industry, with a strong understanding of design trends and project requirements.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to cultivate relationships within the design community.
- Knowledge of materials, products, and trends in architecture and interior design.
- Experience attending and representing the company at industry events and trade shows.
