Mosaic is currently seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to join our talented and dynamic team. The Sales Operations Specialist is expected to provide administrative support to the sales team and proactively drive external sales operations processes. Focusing heavily on clerical tasks and customer service, this position is responsible for effectively collaborating with and serving as a liaison amongst account managers and existing and potential customers. The Sales Operations Specialist will also assist in basic lead generation activities and occasionally participate in project meetings and networking events.

Headquartered in Chantilly, VA, Mosaic occupies a broad geographic footprint with 10 locations throughout Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina. What You’ll Do

  • Schedule and monitor all sales appointments, events, meetings, and invitations and distribute and track confirmations
  • Actively participate in targeted sales calls and collect and document all required information
  • Monitor and track all sales activities and open quotes and perform necessary follow-up measures to ensure accuracy, verify information, and collect supplementary data.
  • Execute needs-analyses measures to determine project specifications and distribute obtained information accordingly
  • Assist with product information requests by conducting the necessary research and providing the obtained data in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Continually evaluate product inventory and pricing and provide quotes and installation specifications when required
  • Identify leads through requests for follow-up via telephone and email and actively solicit additional opportunities for business development
  • Compile marketing material and distribute according to targeted solicitation efforts.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Similar work experience with documented success in business operations and development
  • Experience and expertise in managing various administration tasks, clerical duties, and project oversight
  • 3+ years of strong business operations experience in an administrative or office assistant role
  • Experience in the remodeling, construction, or home improvement industry is preferred
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Computer skills include Microsoft Office and Outlook
