The Sales Planning and Performance lead will be responsible for driving strategic planning and operational efficiency within the sales function. This role focuses on analyzing sales performance, forecasting, and ensuring alignment between sales goals and the company’s service offerings in JIRA products, DevOps, software testing, and application monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing sales processes and driving continuous improvements in sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize sales operations to ensure efficient processes and performance for services related to JIRA products, software testing, and DevOps.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with presales, technical teams, and delivery teams to align sales strategies with technical capabilities, including JIRA workflows, application monitoring, and SDLC/STLC processes.
  • Lead sales forecasting, planning, and resource management to meet organizational and client project demands.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans to ensure the sales team meets revenue and growth objectives.
  • Create and manage sales reports and dashboards to track progress and performance against targets.
  • Ensure smooth handover of closed deals from sales to delivery, with proper resource planning for projects involving JIRA products, DevOps, and application monitoring.
  • Refine and continuously improve sales processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency in alignment with company goals.
  • Drive strategic planning initiatives to enhance sales performance, aligning with DevOps, software testing, and SDLC methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales operations, performance planning, or related roles in the software testing, JIRA products, DevOps, or SDLC/STLC industries.
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA products (JIRA Core, JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management), DevOps methodologies, and application monitoring.
  • Proven experience in analyzing sales data, creating performance metrics, and driving operational improvements.
  • Expertise in sales forecasting, resource planning, and operations management to meet project demands.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and present performance insights to senior management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and performance dashboards is a plus.
