About the position:

As a results-driven Sales Representative, your objective is to grow our brand in North America and drive significant revenue growth in the next two years. You will be the key ambassador for our premium chocolate products, driving sales by expanding relationships with existing customers and securing new opportunities with modern trade and premium food stores. Your passion for fine specialty food and strong communication skills will be vital in engaging and growing our customer base.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Customer Engagement

  • Represent Marou Chocolate to modern trade accounts and premium grocery stores.
  • Actively engage with potential customers, providing product information, samples, and seasonal offers.
  • Drive sales through persuasive communication, excellent negotiation skills, and in-depth product knowledge.

2. Product Knowledge

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our product line, including seasonal offers and brand differentiation.
  • Educate customers about the advantages of our chocolate.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products.

3. Customer Service

  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regular customers.

4. Reporting

  • Track and report sales figures and customer feedback.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the food/beverage or retail industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for premium, artisanal products and a deep understanding of the specialty food and beverage market.
  • Strong knowledge of modern trade and premium grocery store channels.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within your assigned territory (up to 50% of work time).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
