Job Title: Sales Support Representative / Business Developer (FMCG)

Job Summary:
We seek a motivated and results-driven Sales Support Representative / Business Developer to join a multi account sales team. You will play a key role in expanding our client’s customer base, fostering long-lasting relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Focus: Build and nurture relationships with key retail partners, both new and existing, to expand the brand’s presence and maximize sales potential.
- Sales Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets in line with company objectives, contributing to the brand’s growth and market leadership.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans for your region, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within the retail landscape.
- In-Store Promotion: Collaborate with retail partners to execute effective in-store promotions, ensuring optimal product placement, visibility, and consumer engagement.
- Merchandising: Maintain a strong understanding of category management principles and collaborate with retailers to optimize shelf space and product displays.
- Representation: Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings as a brand ambassador, fostering positive relationships and networking opportunities.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and journey plans.
Candidate Profile:
- Ambition and Positivity: A proactive and results-oriented approach with a passion for the FMCG industry and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in sales or business development, ideally within the FMCG or retail sectors.
- Track Record: A demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals, developing new business, and fostering strong client relationships.
- Education: A third-level qualification in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in using handheld technology, CRM systems, and sales analytics tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with key stakeholders.
- Initiative and Teamwork: Capable of working independently to achieve results while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Licence: Candidate will hold a Full clean B Irish/EU driving licence.
