This is a fully remote position, with occasional travel expected to our corporate headquarters located in Scottsdale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop intricate Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and related Salesforce technologies.
- Adhere to established coding standards to produce well-organized, maintainable, and user-friendly code.
- Establish and sustain integrations between Salesforce and external platforms through REST/SOAP APIs, Batch file processing, and MuleSoft.
- Manage code deployment via our development pipeline using Gearset Continuous Integration alongside a BitBucket repository, employing Git and CI/CD practices.
- Implement declarative updates to Salesforce metadata, which includes creating new fields, objects, custom metadata, and associated permissions for various development initiatives.
- Enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) user interfaces employing front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Engage in feature review sessions and gather input from business stakeholders throughout the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.
- Diagnose and resolve bugs, collaborating with help desk personnel to troubleshoot and validate issues.
- Keep abreast of Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices to provide informed guidance and recommendations to the development team.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in coding with any modern programming language or technology stack (e.g., Salesforce, .NET, Java, PHP, C++, Python Django, Ruby).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies, including Apex, SOQL, LWC, Visualforce, and Aura (note: visual/declarative programming tools like Flows and Process Builder do not apply).
- Expertise in Asynchronous Apex (Batch, Scheduled, Queueable, Platform Events) and Apex Triggers, including transaction management and advanced recursion techniques.
- Proven experience in constructing custom code-based API integrations between Salesforce and other systems.
- Proficient in writing Apex unit tests, including mocking and stubbing to ensure class isolation during testing.
- Advanced debugging capabilities, especially with asynchronous transactions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools, such as Jira.
- Experience with Gearset or similar CI/CD tools, together with foundational Git knowledge (branching strategies, merge conflict resolution).
- Demonstrable ability to develop org-agnostic code suitable for any Salesforce implementation.
- Strong aptitude for developing comprehensive solutions to complex challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Salesforce Development Certifications (e.g., PAB, PDI, PDII) are highly desirable.
- Experience in coding outside the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft or other Middleware/ETL tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Apex frameworks, particularly FFLIB – Apex Enterprise Framework, is beneficial.
- Experience with Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud will be considered a plus.
- Ability to independently design solutions on a small scale within loosely defined technical specifications is a valuable asset.
- Experience in project management, particularly in translating business requirements into user stories and documentation is favorable.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from (155,000 to )175,000.
- Full-time employee status (not a contractor).
