Job Title: Salesforce Expert

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Expert to manage, optimize, and develop our Salesforce platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business and maximizes efficiency across sales, marketing, and customer service operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, customization, and integration, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

The Salesforce Expert will be responsible for the ongoing development, support, and improvement of our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring it aligns with business goals and industry best practices. This role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure Salesforce is fully utilized and integrated with other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration & Development:

  • Administer and maintain Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and functionality.
  • Customize Salesforce to meet business requirements, including the creation of custom objects, workflows, page layouts, and fields.
  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions to automate processes, improve workflows, and enhance user experience.
  • Manage Salesforce user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and access controls.
  • Perform regular system audits and maintain system health, ensuring data quality, security compliance, and scalability.

Integration & Automation:

  • Lead the integration of Salesforce with third-party applications and internal systems, such as ERP, marketing automation, and customer support platforms.
  • Develop and implement process automation using Salesforce tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Apex triggers.
  • Design and execute data migration strategies, ensuring accurate transfer of data between Salesforce and external systems.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Create and manage custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide insights into sales performance, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze data to support strategic decision-making across departments and improve overall business processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Salesforce, using data cleansing and validation techniques.

 

 

User Support & Training:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for Salesforce users, resolving issues and answering questions related to functionality and performance.
  • Conduct user training and create documentation to enhance user proficiency and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related inquiries and requests.

Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, IT) to understand business needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead Salesforce-related projects, including system upgrades, feature implementations, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to develop and prioritize a Salesforce roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external Salesforce consultants, developers, and vendors as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce administration, development, and integration.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201), Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or other relevant certifications are highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related CRM functionalities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce customization, including workflows, process automation, custom objects, and fields.
  • Experience with Salesforce development tools, such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce integration techniques (APIs, web services) and third-party tools like MuleSoft or Zapier.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security models, data management, and data migration processes.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management skills with experience in leading Salesforce implementations and upgrades.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
