Position Summary

Xede Consulting Group is seeking a Salesforce Financial Services Solution Architect (SA) to lead the successful implementation of Salesforce solutions for our financial services clients. This role requires a deep understanding of banking and financial services and a strategic mindset to translate the Scope from the Statement of Work into detailed Discovery sessions, a straight forward user story backlog, and effective Sprint-based project management. The SA will be viewed as an expert in the Banking industry and Salesforce solutions, and the SA is expected to mentor and guide team members while delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand their strategy, processes, business rules, and systems, articulating them through business architecture diagrams, documentation, and leadership in meetings.
  • Requirements Management: Lead requirements gathering and analysis, creating a User Story Backlog decomposed by Sprints, ensuring clarity and simplicity for the client and project team.
  • Solution Development: Produce requirement documentation, business process flow diagrams, and implementation plans, and identify change adoption needs.
  • Business Value Alignment: Guide the client through User Story Prioritization, focusing on balancing business value with delivery risk mitigation.
  • Consultative Approach: Offer design options with clear pros and cons, allowing the client product owner to make informed decisions. Prioritize Native Platform capabilities, AppExchange solutions, and customization only when necessary.
  • Training and Enablement: Develop and deliver training curricula for client trainers, end-users, and Platform Administrators to ensure seamless solution adoption.
  • Client Management: Work closely with Xede’s Project Manager, Solution Director, and Account Executive to manage client expectations and ensure successful implementation and long-term client value.
  • Sales Support: Periodically engage in sales activities where specific expertise is needed to refine go-to-market strategies or improve project estimations.

Key Competencies

  • Strong command of Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and conciseness.
  • Proven leadership in client and team settings.
  • Advanced business and systems analysis skills, test planning, problem-solving, and experience with technical environments and architectures.

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process re-engineering, and financial services consulting.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Salesforce administration or consulting and in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
  • 3+ years working in Financial Services organizations, with experience in banking being a crucial requirement. Expertise in wealth management and insurance is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Proven experience in requirements elicitation and user story writing.
  • Experience with data migration and AppExchange Package installation is essential.
