Description

The SAM Pre Sales Engineer should support the sales growth of GoodWe by developing strong relationships to the technical stakeholders in GoodWe’s distributor, installer and EPC network in SAM region and ensuring their trust in GoodWe’s solutions and products. Hold customer trainings face-to-face and online, create and manage local technical documentation, establish a knowledge data base, and represent GoodWe in exhibitions. Provide timely information or feedback for proposals from customers, supplying the technical details of proposed solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform face to face workshops and trainings to partners and customers;

• Perform online webinars and trainings for partners and customers;

• Support the sales teams with projects specification;

• Support the sales teams with customer visits on strategic negotiations;

• Perform project simulations and design for customers;

• Perform technical documents translation (datasheets, user manuals, brochures, magazines presentations, etc.);

• Create and design portfolio presentations;

• Create and design product and features presentations;

• Create SOP documents about product and features;

• Create SOP videos about product and features;

• Handle and participate on exhibitions and PV trade shows;

• Perform lectures and face to face presentations on PV Forums and events;

• Provide training to the internal SAM staff (after sales engineers, marketing teams, sales teams, etc.);

• Support and handle the Spanish online GoodWe Solar Academy community;

• Support and handle the Spanish GoodWe Solar Academy social medias;

• Perform customer support regarding Pre-Sales matters;

• Train and certificate the partners technical staff according to the channel policy;

• Work closely to HQ teams to understand and transmit the correct features and specification from our portfolio to the local staff, partners and customers;

• Work actively with marketing team to establish a promotion network with 3rd party partners (training companies, digital influencers and distributors);

• Support the marketing team with content creation and promotions;

• Support the Product and Pre-Sales managers on the definition of local portfolio;

• Collect market product demands from the SAM region market;

• Analyze market demands and propose new products and features;

• Collect and sort out product information, solution information and main customer information from competitors;

• Analyze and feedback about standards requirements from local regulations.

Required Skills

• Advanced English, fluent Spanish;

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Photovoltaics, Renewable Energy or other comparable degree;

• Advanced knowledge of PV Inverters;

• At least 3 years of experience with PV inverters;

• At least 4 years of experience in the SAM region PV market;

• Experience with DG, experience with CG projects is a plus;

• Experience with PV energy storage inverter;

• Experience with lead-acid and lithium batteries for PV storage systems;

• General knowledge of Electricity, Product, Product Solution and Processes;

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and PVSyst;

• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and strong communication skills;

• Excellent command in MS Office and other PV software;

• Advanced knowledge in MS Power Point software;

• Strongly networked in the renewable energy, mainly in Solar PV industry;

• Relevant graphic design skills;

• General knowledge of graphic software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Drawn);

• Relevant video editing skills;

• Strongly teaching and communication skills.
