SAP BOBJ Project Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Lead end-to-end medium to large-scale SAP Business Objects 4.3 Upgrade and Promotion projects in a multi-environment deployment of BusinessObjects: Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to project schedule and within budget. 
2. Manage business, contract, consulting, schedule, budget, scope, and IT resources: Coordinate efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants and client team members and to deliver project according to pre-determined deliverables schedule.
3. Define project objectives and timelines with client and establish weekly schedule reviews with client and teams: Oversee tasks and objectives throughout the project lifecycle maintain risk management. 
4. Assist with planning and management of testing, defect management, and training.
5. Oversee deployment, testing, and training team members to ensure that team members are provided with access to equipment and personnel to ensure timely completion of the project.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar experience within the IT industry.
2. 5+ years of direct work experience in SAP BusinessObjects. Including BusinessObjects administration and report/universe development and integral support for upgrade and enhancement projects for BusinessObjects.
3. Project Management experience for a minimum of three (3) managed upgrades within SAP Business Objects programs, at least two (2) with 4.3.
4. Experience working on Federal government projects, highly preferred.
5. Active security clearance, highly preferred.
6. Strong leadership and project management skills along with strong organization, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to manage in a flexible environment with diverse stakeholders.
8. Experience with IT project management tools.
9. Certifications in Project Management (PMP) desired.
10. Experience with MetaMiner is desired

Technical Skills:

1. SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (full suite including administration, Web Intelligence and Crystal Reporting, Universe Design applications)
2. Microsoft SQL Server
3. Microsoft Project
