What You’ll Do

As a SAP FSCM/FAM Senior Consultant, your role will be multifaceted. You will be expected to understand internal customer processes and products, engage with solution architects, estimate costs for new functionalities, perform quality checks on deliverables, support documentation efforts, recommend performance improvements, act as a liaison between Business and IT, support Portfolio Managers in building Business Cases, support implementation activities, troubleshoot system issues and perform impact analysis. Your ability to hold an end-to-end view of the system will be critical in this role.

• Understand internal customers’ processes and products and how they fit within the goals of the function or business unit.
• Engage with the solution architect in the reviews and validation of the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier.
• Estimate Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort/cost of new application functionality.
• Perform quality review checks on project deliverables.
• Support and review the documentation of functional specifications.
• Make recommendations for application performance improvements.
• Act as liaison between the Business and IT, as assigned.
• Support the Portfolio Manager in building the Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high level plan.
• Support the implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues and providing training as required.
• Perform impact analysis of application changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this SAP FSCM/FAM Senior Consultant position brings a wealth of experience in Application Design and Development in SAP FSCM / FAM. With at least 7 years of relevant experience under your belt, you have honed your skills in understanding internal customer processes and products. You are comfortable engaging with solution architects and estimating costs for new functionalities. Your experience in performing quality checks on deliverables, supporting documentation efforts, recommending performance improvements, and acting as a liaison between Business and IT will be invaluable in this role.

• Proven experience in Application Design and Development in SAP FSCM / FAM
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Ability to understand internal customer processes and products
• Experience engaging with solution architects
• Ability to estimate costs for new functionalities
• Experience performing quality checks on deliverables
• Ability to support documentation efforts
• Experience recommending performance improvements
• Ability to act as a liaison between Business and IT
