Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in the operation and maintenance of essential enterprise-level systems. This remote position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product owners and program managers, to ensure seamless project delivery. You will play a critical role in fostering an Agile environment, managing project developments, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for Agile principles and values across various teams.
- Cultivate a collaborative and supportive environment that promotes team growth and success.
- Partner with Agile Coaches to deliver constructive feedback that encourages continuous improvement.
- Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Oversee and maintain the product backlog, ensuring accurate tracking of tasks and progress.
- Generate and present team metrics, reporting on project status while ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues or blockers to sustain project momentum.
- Collaborate with other DevOps teams to manage inter-team dependencies, ensuring effective project execution.
- Lead release management efforts, ensuring compliance with SDLC artifacts and overseeing regression testing and deployment support.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, guiding teams through Agile processes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for anticipating challenges and mitigating risks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at managing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to understand system flows, interfaces, and system infrastructure.
- Highly organized, with experience managing backlogs and tracking progress effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 8 years of IT experience.
- Associate’s Degree with 6 years of IT experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of IT experience.
