Role: SDE 3- Senior Software Engineer (Backend, Node.js).

Salary: INR 18 to INR 25L per annum.

Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of the base salary based on extraordinary performance.
Token Bonus: Up to 50% of the base salary in $CULTD token.

Location: Fully remote. With monthly/quarterly work days in Bangalore.  

Experience: 5-8 years.

Role & responsibilities

We are forming our founding engineering team to create GetCultd’s platfrom.

• You will work closely with an agency specializing in social platforms to build and scale the backend systems.
• As the team grows, you’ll take ownership of architectural decisions, technical direction, and team leadership.

We expect you to be a hands-on developer and systems thinker who thrives in a high-hustle, fast-paced environment.

The expectation from this person is to be a hands-on developer and systems thinker, take architectural and framework decisions, and collaborate with a team of 2-3 people to make a production-ready Minimum Lovable Product (MLP) of the product in the next 2-3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solving highly complex technical challenges and driving our project..
• Design and develop robust, scalable web applications using Node.js and NestJS, PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM.
• Architect and implement multi-tenancy systems to support multiple clients.
• Participate in system design, architecture, and help build scalable, high-performance systems.
• Lead the design and development of key features, ensuring high-quality code through code reviews.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to technical decisions and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js/NestJS along with their core principles, and server-side frameworks like Express.js.
• Experience with multi-tenancy architecture and databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with database systems such as MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and system design.
• Familiarity with authentication, security protocols, and scalable architecture.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a remote-first environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Great to have:

• Experience working with Twitter/X API and other social media platforms.
• Previous experience building CRM systems for influencer or social platform integration.
