Role Overview:

As our Local SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing local SEO strategies to increase search visibility and rankings for our clients. You will have a deep understanding of local search engine optimization and experience managing successful local SEO campaigns for businesses in competitive markets. Your role will focus on analyzing, planning, and implementing tactics that drive traffic, generate leads, and improve overall online visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive local SEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals and market.

• Optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP), focusing on improving rankings and visibility.

• Conduct local keyword research and analysis to identify high-impact opportunities.

• Build and manage local citations, ensuring consistent and accurate information across directories.

• Perform regular audits of clients’ websites and GBP listings to identify areas for improvement.

• Monitor, analyze, and report on local SEO performance metrics and KPIs.

• Collaborate with content creators and web developers to implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in local SEO.

• Work closely with clients, providing regular updates and clear reporting on the progress and results of SEO efforts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Local SEO, preferably within an agency setting.

• Strong understanding of local ranking factors and the Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization process.

• Demonstrable track record of improving local search rankings and driving organic traffic for clients.

• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal, Moz Local, and Google Analytics.

• Solid knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO best practices, including citation building and local link acquisition.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with home services or contractor businesses is a plus.

• Familiarity with content marketing and its role in local SEO.

• Certifications in SEO or digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, Moz, HubSpot).
