Security Director (Remote)

Robert Half is hiring! We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Security Director. The individual will tasked with managing security policies, overseeing a team of professionals, and developing a robust security strategy. This position is integral to our team as it involves working closely with our engineering teams and a variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company assets, including data, infrastructure, and intellectual property. Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, ensuring high-level security across all company areas. Strategize and implement both long-term and short-term security plans to guarantee that our products are designed, built, and operated securely. Collaborate with engineering teams to execute design and architecture reviews, which include threat modeling and assessments, code reviews, and security/vulnerability/penetration testing. Create and implement new systems, tools, or processes to enforce security requirements, detect threats, and defend the company. Enhance and refine the company’s security and compliance strategy. Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. Conduct threat modeling, code reviews, security testing, vulnerability detection, and implement remediation methods. Ensure PCI Compliance and conduct Pen Testing to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the finance consulting industry
Proven track record in leadership roles, preferably at the Director level
Proficiency in Pen Testing and PCI Compliance is required
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and solutions
Strong financial analysis and forecasting abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
Advanced knowledge of financial software and databases
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
detail oriented certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar are a plus
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making
High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance
