The Opportunity
As a Senior Account Executive, with a strong focus on new business development, you will be responsible for driving new client acquisition and expanding The Pixel’s presence in the digital commerce space. You will identify, target, and engage potential clients, working closely with them to understand their needs and position The Pixel’s solutions as the perfect fit for their business. While the primary focus is on securing new business, there will also be opportunities to expand relationships with key existing clients, identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities to deliver long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting potential clients and developing strong leads.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline of new prospects, ensuring consistent progress through the sales cycle.
- Conduct research to understand the digital commerce landscape, identifying key decision-makers within target accounts.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations, both virtually and in person, to showcase The Pixel’s capabilities and tailor solutions to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, strategy, and delivery, to craft bespoke proposals and solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor for potential clients, developing long-term strategic partnerships to help them meet their digital commerce objectives.
- Engage with existing clients when opportunities arise to cross-sell or upsell The Pixel’s services, ensuring continued value and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and client needs, providing strategic insights and feedback to inform sales strategies.
What You Need to Succeed
- Proven success in B2B sales with at least 4+ years of experience, particularly in new business development within digital or commerce solutions.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end software development sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Demonstrated ability to open new doors, identify client challenges, and craft compelling value propositions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and the ability to foster trust and credibility with clients.
