Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a senior representative, overseeing high-stakes and intricate accounts.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, particularly focusing on large accounts.
  • Conduct comprehensive sales analyses and formulate forecast models tailored to the unique needs of your key accounts.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies that resonate with decision-makers and C-suite executives to optimize our value offering.
  • Maintain detailed records regarding competitors’ offerings, including pricing, options, and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to drive success.
  • Negotiate complex agreements that address customer requirements while ensuring company profitability.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional account management skills with a focus on high-impact, complex accounts.
  • Proficient communication abilities regarding diverse genomics applications such as qPCR, CRISPR, and NGS.
  • Capacity to engage effectively with decision-makers and C-suite executives.
  • Strong analytical skills to conduct sales evaluations and forecasts.
  • Proven negotiation talents to secure beneficial agreements.
  • High level of accountability, transparency, and integrity in all professional interactions.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities to foster positive relationships.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science discipline, coupled with a minimum of seven years of direct field sales experience, or an MBA/PhD in a Life Science discipline with at least five years of direct sales experience in life sciences or biotech.
  • A demonstrated successful track record in sales and business, with substantial experience in key account management, showcasing successful deal closures and account growth.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with prestigious clients, including academic institutions and government entities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as necessary.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary range: (145,000 – )180,000, with negotiable terms based on experience and qualifications.
  • Eligibility for bonus and incentive pay.
