You’ll provide advice across business services, compliance, taxation, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from start-ups to well-established businesses. The role focuses on client relationships and advisory services, allowing you to partner with clients on their growth journey. With a team of 20 accounting professionals, this role offers long-term growth potential with opportunities to step into more senior positions as your career progresses.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for a portfolio with a wide range of clients
• Provide comprehensive financial advice to clients across business advisory, taxation and compliance
• Prepare Business/Company returns, financial statements and reports, audit and compliance reports, SMSF reporting and compliance, providing day to day support to clients
• Partner with clients to develop and maintain strong relationships
• Maintain industry/market knowledge
• Provide an outstanding and efficient service to all customers

 
What We’re Looking For:

• A strong accounting background across tax, advisory and compliance
• CPA/CA qualified accounting experience preferred but not essential
• Experience in financial management, reporting and business analysis
• Strong knowledge of general finance, budgeting, systems, and process
• Expertise with business clients and complex structures
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workloads independently
• Experience with accounting software like Xero and MyobAE
• A growth mindset and a focus on client partnerships
