A well established Professional Services firm, catering to a wide range of client needs including Business Advisory & Tax, Corporate Finance and Tax Consulting, they work on a varied client base, made up of High Net Worth Individuals, Small-Medium Businesses, Large Corporates, International Companies and ASX listed entities across a range of industries. The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Preparation of Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals, ensuring timely lodgement.
- Preparation of Financial Statements, BAS and Management Reports.
- Review work of Junior Accountants, management of workflow and offering guidance and feedback.
- Preparation for and attendance of Tax Planning meetings.
- Answering of technical queries and provision of tax advice to clients.
- Supporting the Manager and Partner in the smooth day-to-day running of the team.
About You:
- 3+ years experience working for a well-established client base.
- CA or CPA Qualified or studying.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise tasks well and track record in meeting deadlines.
- Proven technical ability and exposure to Division 7a and Capital Gains Tax.
- Experience in a client facing position and reviewing staff work is highly advantageous.Â
