Job Overview

As a Senior Application Engineer, you will engage with a variety of stakeholders to construct effective solutions that drive results. Your role will involve spearheading the development of user stories and technical documentation, ensuring alignment with Agile Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and design tailored solutions.
• Lead the development of user stories and technical documentation, adhering to Agile Scrum principles.
• Apply your expertise to federal IT projects, with a strong focus on requirements, development, operations, and end-user support.
• Thrive in a dynamic environment, addressing complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in working closely with business and technical users to create impactful solutions.
• At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing requirements development teams utilizing Agile Scrum.
• 3+ years of involvement in federal or state IT projects, preferably with familiarity in environmental statutes and enforcement policies (not mandatory).
• Strong comprehension and experience with various technologies, including Agile SDLC, Electronic Data Transfer (EDT), JSON, XML, Section 508, and popular development frameworks.
• A commitment to continuous learning and keeping abreast of the latest technological advancements.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) is preferred.
