Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of complex litigation cases.
- Conduct discovery, represent clients in court, draft legal briefs, and manage depositions.
- Handle a diverse range of civil litigation matters, with a focus on soft intellectual property, business disputes, securities, and select real estate issues.
- Utilize relevant software tools to ensure effective case management.
- Maintain precise and updated client records.
- Respond to client inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Monitor client accounts and take necessary actions as needed.
- Contribute to team success by securing significant settlements.
- Work independently on high-stakes and complex legal matters.
- Enjoy a flexible working schedule, with optional trial participation.
Required Skills
- A valid license to practice law in California.
- Juris Doctor degree obtained from an accredited law school.
- At least 5 years of experience in the legal sector, particularly in civil litigation and claims management.
- Proven ability to handle complex business litigation cases.
- Proficient in resolving complaints and providing effective solutions.
- Familiarity with the consumer electronics sector is a plus.
- Strong capability to represent clients in federal court.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High standard of professional ethics and integrity.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated attention to detail.
Qualifications
- A valid license to practice law in California.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in civil litigation and claims management.
