Senior Back End Developer (Remote)

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Node.js Developer (Backend) to build and test backend API services to support the mobile applications of our clients, ensuring we release high-quality code through an efficient and repeatable process.

This role demands a deep understanding of wide-ranging IT knowledge, with preference of high-load fintech / payments / FX / Crypto Trading solutions and solid experience as a computer engineering. Continued hands-on experience is expected from a leader who will stay actively engaged with programming, modern technology stacks, and the activities of the respective IT teams.

This position is fully Remote and directly reports to the CTO

Key Responsibilities:

• Back-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs using Node.js, ensuring performance, scalability, and security
• API Integration: Work with RESTful APIs and third-party services to integrate and enhance system functionality
• Database Management: Develop and maintain database architectures (e.g. MariaDB or MySQL, MongoDB & REDIS) for robust data storage solutions
• Code Optimization: Write clean, modular, and reusable code, adhering to best practices and design patterns
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit and integration testing, debug issues, and ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code
• Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and maintain smooth user experiences
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends in Node.js and related technologies, applying new knowledge to improve system performance and code quality

Requirements:

• At least 3 years as a Sr. or leadership role in technology within a fintech or software development company and a minimum of 6 years overall in technology companies
• Develop Node/JS workers, in EXZi’ s microservices infrastructure, that interface with blockchain nodes API (REST/WebSocket) interfaces
• Have a good understanding of OOPS concept, SOLID principles, GIT, containerization.
• Message queues (RABBITMQ), Caches (REDIS)
• Advanced understanding of security practices (Authorization Header, Hashing)
• Prior experience in developing and scaling core banking, Crypto-wallet, and payments solutions is highly desirable. Experience with open banking initiatives and regulatory compliance is big plus.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure or GCP)
