agriportance GmbH is a young, innovative, and sustainable company and the service platform for biomethane/bio-LNG. We support the necessary sustainability certification and broker biomethane from agricultural companies and customers from the energy sector.

In this position you report to the Tech Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
- Design, develop, and optimize high-quality backend services and APIs using Python (Flask).
- Architect and maintain RESTful APIs to ensure scalable and secure data interactions.
- Optimize and manage the PostgreSQL database, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of database operations.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
DevOps & Infrastructure Management
- Manage, deploy, and optimize applications using Azure Cloud Services, including App Service, Azure Container Registry, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Develop and manage Docker containers for the development, staging, and production environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure smooth application delivery.
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure infrastructure and application health.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the existing frontend developers, backend team, and UI/UX designer to deliver feature-rich, high-performance applications.
- Mentor and guide junior developers and work students, providing technical leadership and support.
- Participate in SCRUM meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira for task tracking and agile development.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3-6 years of experience in backend developments.
- Good experience in DevOps roles.
- Expertise in Python and Flask for developing RESTful web services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and orchestration in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud Services, including App Service, Azure Container Registry, and Blob Storage.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with version control using GitHub.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, especially within the Azure ecosystem.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with TypeScript and React.js to better collaborate with frontend developers.
- Experience in SCRUM or other agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Cypress or other end-to-end testing frameworks for backend integration testing.
- Experience in API performance tuning and database optimization.
Salary: from 55,000 Euro gross per year (depending on qualifications)
