Job Description

We seek an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in NodeJS, Python, AWS services, ArgoCD (or similar deployment tools), and managing complete backend services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of backend infrastructure, API development, and deploying scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Backend Services: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient backend APIs and services.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize AWS resources such as EC2 instances, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway for optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• CI/CD Pipelines and Deployment: Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similar. Automate deployment workflows and ensure zero-downtime deployments.
• API Development and Integration: Work with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and other backend frameworks to support the platform’s features.
• Database Management: Design and manage databases such as MongoDB to ensure data integrity and high availability.
• Security and Monitoring: Implement best practices for backend security and manage monitoring systems like CloudWatch or similar to ensure smooth operation and proactive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to align backend services with business goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Expertise in AWS services like EC2, S3, CloudWatch,API Gateway and others.
• Strong experience with ArgoCD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes or similar CI/CD tools for automated deployments.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages like Node.js, Python.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and backend frameworks.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of database design and management (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus).
• Knowledge of backend security practices, authentication mechanisms, and encryption.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Angular is highly preferred.
• Experience with bubble.io preferred.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture.
• Knowledge of AI/ML model deployment and integration.
• Experience in backend caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Bitbucket.
