About Luby

What will be your attributions at #Luby ?

• Design and develop robust, scalable server-side applications using Node.js, Nest.js, and Postgres.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that power client-facing applications.
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality using Jest and Playwright.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side functionality with the client side.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance.
• Participate in Agile-Scrum development processes, delivering solutions on time.
• Stay updated with emerging backend development trends and technologies and incorporate them as needed.

Position s Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Node.js, Nest.js, and Postgres.
• Proficiency in server-side technologies, including RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of relational database design and optimization techniques.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud-based platforms.
• Proficiency with Git, Git Flow, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test-driven development using Jest and Playwright.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and effectively communicate at all levels of the business.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred

• Experience with React in a professional environment.
• Familiarity with the U.S. banking system or financial technology (FinTech).
