As the Brand & Packaging Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the visual language of our brand. This includes designing compelling consumer packaged goods (CPG) packaging, creating brand identities, and supporting multi-channel 360 campaigns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and e-commerce, to ensure that every design touchpoint reflects our brand values and captivates our audience.
Responsibilities:
Brand Development & Guidelines:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive and consistent visual language across all touchpoints.
- Refresh or evolve brand assets as needed to stay aligned with industry trends and business goals.
Packaging Design:
- Create visually compelling, functional, and innovative packaging for CPG products, ensuring designs align with brand identity and appeal to target demographics.
- Collaborate with product development and suppliers to optimize packaging for functionality, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee the packaging production process, including pre-press preparation, supplier communication, and final quality assurance checks.
360 Campaign Design:
- Conceptualize and design assets for multi-channel campaigns, including digital ads, email marketing, social media, website visuals, and print materials.
- Ensure campaigns deliver a unified and impactful brand experience across all platforms.
Creative Leadership:
- Translate strategic briefs into compelling visual concepts that achieve business objectives.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and finalize designs.
Collaboration & Project Management:
- Partner with marketing, product development, and e-commerce teams to align design projects with broader business goals.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of professional design experience, with a strong focus on CPG packaging, brand identity, and 360 campaigns.
- Proven track record of designing for DTC e-commerce brands or consumer-facing products.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
- Proficiency in creating high-quality 3D renders using Keyshot, Blender, or equivalent tools.
- In-depth knowledge of print production processes, materials and dielines.
- Strong portfolio showcasing packaging, brand guidelines, 3D renders, and campaign designs.
- Exceptional creative and conceptual thinking with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Passionate about creating designs that are both beautiful and functional.
