As a Senior Business Development Executive at Starpay, your primary responsibility will be to actively pursue and engage business clients in the LATAM and Indonesia markets who can benefit from Starpay’s payment solutions. You will manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals and onboarding enterprise merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify business opportunities: Target and engage potential business clients in LATAM and Indonesia, creating customized strategies to attract and onboard them to Starpay’s payment solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: Oversee all stages of the sales process, from prospecting to negotiating and finalizing deals, ensuring seamless onboarding of enterprise merchants in both regions.
- Stay informed on market trends: Continuously research and analyze the payment markets in LATAM and Indonesia to understand emerging needs, trends, and opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships: Establish and foster long-term relationships with key business clients and industry partners to support business growth and retention.
- Lead negotiations with enterprise clients: Handle complex negotiations, securing beneficial, long-term agreements that align with Starpay’s business goals.
- Present Starpay’s solutions: Clearly communicate the value and benefits of Starpay’s payment solutions to potential clients, showcasing how they can meet business needs.
- Collaborate across departments: Gather client feedback to improve Starpay’s offerings and work closely with teams in marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a unified approach to B2B sales in LATAM and Indonesia.
- Track performance and report progress: Regularly monitor sales targets and provide detailed progress reports to management, highlighting challenges and achievements in the LATAM and Indonesian markets.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in business development with a focus on sales in the B2B payments or fintech industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency
- Proven sales track record, particularly in international and diverse markets.
- Familiarity with customer support practices.
- Strong business communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of LATAM and Indonesian payment markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong time management and strategic planning skills.
